Deutsche BKK is to purchase for its members with chronic heart diseases, including congestive heart failure (CHF), the SHL telemedicine monitoring solution.In March 2005 PHTS signed a similar agreement with Taunus Betriebskrankenkasse, which has more than 800,000 insured, for the same telemedicine monitoring solution.
The Deutsche BKK agreement further underpins PHTS’s position as the leading German Telemedicine provider and demonstrates the potential for its solutions in Germany. It is to further add to PHTS’s growth as the company expects revenues from this agreement to materialize from Q4 2005.
PHTS will continue to actively pursue comparable opportunities in Germany and expects additional agreements with German health insurers going forward.
